After the Hard Disk

*Tic, Tac, Tic, Tac*
The sound of the clock ticking was heard in the silence of the room. Miss Keane was sitting at her desk correcting some of her students exam papers. Her stomach started to growl so she rubbed her stomach.
“All this correcting has got me so hungry. I should eat something  .” she grabbed the phone receptor dialed some numbers and put it over her ear.
*trrrrr, trrrrr* The phone was ringing.
“Hello. Miss Bellum? Can you please command me some Chinese food, I am starving here. Thank you.”
Miss Keane   hangs  the phone.
“I hope that they delivery quickly, my stomach is killing me.”
*After twenty minutes*
“I can’t believe this, I am starving here and Miss Bellum still didn’t bring me the food. I wonder what is taking her so long. Soon I will get dizzy from hunger if she doesn’t hurry up. I should call her again before I starve here.” Miss Keane reached her hand for the phone receptor but before she could grab it a loud sound was heard. “What was that noise? It was louder than my stomach begging for food. I hope it’s the chinese delivery guy.”
Miss Keane stood up from her desk and started arranging the papers and stashing them in a drawer.
“I am not going to stand here and starve, if food is not coming to me then I will go to it.” She said approaching the door of her office
Miss Keane opened the door and exit the office entering the hallway. Her stomach started to growl again, petting her belly she looked left and right with a confuse expression on her face. Another loud noise was heard by Miss Keane from the other side of the building.
“This was definitely not my stomach, I might be hungry but that sounded like an explosion.” Miss Keane started to walk towards the place where the noise came from. “I think the noise came from the lab, I wonder if I can find some food there , or at least some experimental food, anything is fine by me right now.”
She was walking slowly and careful , she had a scared and also curious look in her face. All the other rooms and offices were empty, the place looked abandoned. She got in front of the buildings kitchen and stopped staring at the fridge.
“I wonder if somebody left some food here, I am hungry, they won’t mind if I eat a snack or two or at least I hope that they won’t mind .” she placed her hand on the fridges door with hope and pulled it open.
The fridge was empty, she desperately started to open every cabinet door and check every little corner for some food. Her hope was shattered, there was no glance of food anywhere in the room. She collapsed on a chair putting her head on the table.
“God damn it, I am starving for f*** sake !” she screamed loudly. “Oh my God, I should not talk like this , especially not to use the  f word, I am a teacher but this hunger is driving me insane .”
She stayed on that chair for a little while, her stomach was still growling louder and louder and she did the only thing that she could do, she kept on rubbing it. The loud noise of her stomach growling was covered by another explosion this time it was closer. Miss Keane jumped off her chair frightened and hide under the table.
“This is just great, it’s not enough that I am starving here but also this place is place is blowing up and I am all alone in the building. I wonder what it’s happening over there , who is doing all this .”
She got up from beneath the table and went back on the hallway, she walked towards the lab frightened rubbing her hands together and looking left and right for anything suspicious. Suddenly she gets grabbed and pulled inside a room. It was Miss Bellum who pulled her.
“Miss Bellum ! First of all , where is my food that I told you to bring me, you left me to starve in that  office and second of all what is happening ? Where are all this explosion happening and who is behind this ?”
“I am sorry Miss Keane but the delivery guy did not appear. We are being attacked by Sedusa , she is trying to enter the lab .”
Miss Bellum stomach started to growl and she covered it fast using her hands and slowly rubbing it.
“Looks like I am not the only one starving around here .” said Miss Keane with a subtle laughter.
“Yes Miss Keane , I haven’t eaten anything the whole day , didn’t have time for a lunch break , I was busy and now we are stuck in this mess and starving .”
“Well at least I won’t starve here alone , I can’t wait to get out of here and go home and eat anything , my stomach is praying right now for some food.”
“I agree with you Miss Keane  , my stomach is also begging me for some food but sadly I couldn’t find anything to offer it.”
“I also looked in the kitchen for some food but it was all empty, no glance of food or leftovers. Absolutely nothing.” Said Miss Keane  with a very sad look on her face.
“What should we ? I don’t want to starve to death.”
“We should go and see what is happening first.”
“That won’t calm my hunger but I am right behind you Miss Keane.”
Miss Keane  and Miss Bellum both exit the room together, holding each other like frightened and hungry teenagers. They walked slowly down the hallway getting closer to the lab where the explosions took place.
“I can’t wait until this will be all over so I can have something warm to eat, I am starving” whispered Miss Keane .
“I agree with you Miss Keane  , I am so hungry. Maybe we could go together somewhere and have something to eat, I know a nice place down the street .”
“That sounds great Miss Bellum. I am so hungry that only the thought about food makes me droll . Maybe we should not approach the lab but leave this place and go to that place from down the street that you talked about. I am to hungry to be able to save anybody right now .”
“I am sorry Miss Keane  but we can not do that , we need to see what’s happening in the lab and find a way to stop Sedusa from whatever evil stuff she is trying to accomplish .”
“Do you think that we are capable of doing this while we are starving ?”
“Well Miss Keane  , I also regret that I didn’t find some time for my self to go and eat anything and that now I have to fight evil with an empty stomach but we I am convinced that we can definitely do this .” said Miss Bellum with a brave look on her face and courage in her eyes.
“I hope that you are right , I just wished I could have something to eat .” said Miss Keane  turning her attention to a nearby window.
Outside there was a lot of people and plenty of cops and SWAT vans surrounding the building  , also police and news helicopters flying around. A lot of noise was made by the cop cars sirens and the helicopters engines but the growling of their stomachs was louder from inside the building and covered all the noise and agitation from the outside. The women rubbed their stomachs and kept on going towards the lab. At the end of the hallway they both stopped and were picking over the corner , looking directly to the labs door.
“I wonder if Sedusa haves any food, I am so hungry that I would even accept food from evil people .” said Miss Keane with a thoughtful look .
“We are starving and I don’t think even if we would beg her for food she will not have the will to help. My stomachs hurts so bad right now that I also wish that she would .”
“Well looks like the coast is clear , lets first try not to get caught by Sedusa .” said Miss Keane  turning her attention to Miss Bellum and staring right into her eyes.
Miss Keane  and Miss Bellum continued to advance towards the entrance of the lab. The door was big made out of hard steel, it could only be opened by entering a 5 digit code in the panel. When they got near the door they could hear some fade noises from inside of the lab.
“Those sound like shouts , and stuff breaking .” said Miss Bellum.
“My stomach is also breaking down from hunger .”
“Be strong Miss Keane , try to ignore your hunger , Sedusa is one of the most wanted criminals in the world. Just imagine how much food we will get after we catch her and deliver her to the police .”
“Stop talking about food Miss Bellum , my stomach is killing me , the thought about food is killing me .”
Miss Keane  and Miss Bellum stomachs growled silently this time , like their stomachs were also scared of what was awaiting them on the other side of the steel door. They pet their stomachs like they would pet a scared animal and looked at each other.
“ Let’s do this before we starve here .” said Miss Keane. “Punch in  the code and lets be done with it .”
“Yes , I am so hungry right now , let’s finish this and go and eat .” said miss Bellum writing the code 01996 for opening the door.
Before Miss Bellum pressed Enter to send the code so the doors will open she looked at Miss Keane  and said.
“Once we enter we can not open the doors from the inside, we will have to catch Sedusa and wait for the SWAT team to open it from the outside. Are you ready ?
“I am already starving on the outside , there is no difference if I will keep on starving inside that lab. Still, who knows, maybe we will find some experimental food or something inside there  and save us from all this pain . You can press that button Miss Bellum .” said Miss Keane looking directly to the steel doors with her head held high with courage and honor ready to confront anything that is waiting for her on the other side.
Miss Bellum pressed the button , the noises inside of the lab has stopped , the doors started to slowly open with a silent noise made by the mechanism that was moving them wide open.  Miss Keane entered first followed by Miss Bellum, the doors closed shut behind them. The lab was a mess, a lot of broken machinery , small fires here are there, the light was flashing continuously and there was a smell of chemicals in the lab.
“What happened here ?” asked Miss Bellum.
“I don’t  know but this place is trashed. There is no way we are going to find some food here in this mess, I am so starving right now .”there was sadness and disappointment in Miss Keane voice .
“It’s okay , we will manage it and finish this before we starve .”
“Have you ever meet Sedusa in person ?”
“I am to hungry to remember but I don’t think that I did .” said Miss Bellum wondering.
“I hope this ends well and there will be food at the end .”
“Let’s keep on moving before we starve sitting here .”
“I am already starving Miss Bellum .”
“Me to Miss Keane. I am so hungry that I would even eat and elephant right now .”
“I agree, an elephant sounds so good for my stomach right now .”
“Let’s go this , keep low and your guard up Miss Keane , we are on hostile ground now .” said Miss Bellum advancing through the room slowly hiding behind cover.
Miss Keane followed Miss Bellum stealthy through the lab trying not to make any noise. Advancing they could hear a voice , louder and louder as they were getting closer to the source of the voice. When they were close enough to clearly understand what was the person saying they stopped and looked for a place to hide and listen. They could hear Sedusas stomach growling from hunger and they noticed her rubbing it in pain.
“I can’t believe that I am stuck in this f***ing lab alone and starving. I couldn’t even find the f***ing hard disk I was looking for. They told me it was here, go in go out, no need to eat anything before , it will be fast they said. F***ing liars ! said the voice with a revolved tone.
It was Sedusas voice that Miss Keane and Miss Bellum were hearing. They looked at each other both wondering what should they do, how to catch Sedusa and put an ending to this.
“Well , looks like we are not the only ones starving here .” whispered Miss Bellum.
“Yes. I am also hungry but that language , so many F words coming out of her mouth. She must be very pissed because of the hunger .”
“You might be right Miss Keane .”
“What hard disk was she talking about ? What is it on it ?”
“It’s a hard disk that out savants worked on it for years, the greatest food recipes and some great experimental recipes , they say that the taste is unbelievable good, like nothing else from this planet .”
“Now I see why Sedusa wants that hard disk. Those recipes you just said made my stomach go crazy, he wants to taste them so bad. Maybe we could take a look at the recipes before we hand them in ?” wondered miss Keane with a whispering voice so they can not be hear d by Sedusa.
“Let’s first get our hands on that Hard Disk before Sedusa does and before we starve to death here .”
“I am so hungry I barely have power, the thought of what is hidden in that hard disk is killing me and my stomach .”
Miss Keane followed Miss Bellum left the spot they were hiding stealthily and  started to search the lab silently so Sedusa won’t hear them. They had to find that hard disk before Sedusa did, they searched all the drawers they could find , on every table that was still standing and inside all the computers that could have still be opened. While they were working on a computer searching for the hard disk Miss Keane and Miss Bellum stomachs started to growl. They looked at each other and rubbed their stomachs.
“I am starving and we are never going to find that hard disk, especially in this mess .” said miss Keane with a disappointed look on her face.
“You  might be right Miss Keane, I am so hungry. We should rest a little. I think that my body is so hungry that its eating my boobs. They look like they shrinked in the last couple of hours .” said Miss Bellum looking down at her boobs.
“Let’s go find a quiet and hidden place to sit for a couple of minutes , maybe our stomach will calm down. Look over there, that corner looks hidden enough .” said miss Keane pointing towards a corner behind a tall closet.
They went and sat down behind the closet hiding them self as much as possible so they can not be discovered by Sedusa.  From time to time they could hear Sedusas screams from inside the lab. She was rubbing her growling stomach and walking nervously bac k and forth through the lab .
“Let me out ! I am f***ing hungry ! I am starving , open these f***ing doors !” Sedusa kept on screaming and breaking stuff. Lot of anger could be heard in her voice.
“I am so hungry, makes me feel bad for Sedusa knowing she is starving like me .” whispered miss Keane to miss Bellum.
“You don’t have to be feeling sorry for her miss Keane, she might be starving like me and you right now but she is still the bad guy here .”
“You are right miss Bellum. I wonder why nobody came until now, no SWAT forces, no Powerpuff girls, nothing .”
“They left us to starve here in this lab with an evil maniac that might kill us if she finds us .”
“Don’t worry miss Bellum, we will handle it. We will find a way to solve this problem but god damn it I am so f***ing hungry right now.
“I am also very hungry but don’t turn into Sedusa. Don’t use the F words .”
“You are right , I am sorry but I am so hungry that I can barely control my language .”
“We need to eat, anything at all but there is nothing around here , I am so starving. I am starting to wish that we wouldn’t enter the lab but left this building and went to eat something. My stomach is going crazy .”
“My hungry stomach wishes the same thing miss Bellum but we have to finish what we started first .”
“Lets go, we rested enough but my stomach is still hurting me so much , he is so hungry poor fellow .”
Miss Bellum and Miss Keane stomachs started to growls as they were getting up from behind the closet , suddenly Sedusa went quiet , the ladies both grabbed their stomach with fear. The growling was pretty loud and Sedusa might heard it. They slowly moved from behind the closet and in front of them was Sedusa starring right at them. Her stomach was also growling  , she was rubbing her stomach using one hand and the other holding her shoulder.
“Well well well, what do we have hear ? Looks like two hungry ladies locked inside this lab with the evil Sedusa. I am sorry to inform you that this is not your lucky day, I am hungry , very hungry and when Sedusa is hungry she is not a really good person .” said Sedusa with anger in her voice standing in a evil  and sexy posture.
“I am Miss Bellum and this is Miss Keane, we heard the noises coming from the lab so we came to investigate and now we are locked in here starving with no way to get out .” said  Miss Bellum with a innocent look on her face but in a brave posture .
“Well Miss Bellum and Miss Keane , I am so hungry that I would eat you right now but you are lucky that I am not a cannibal but when you are as hungry as I am and trapped being a cannibal is an option .”
“Great, we are starving and trapped here and Sedusa is thinking about eating us, this is just great. If you decide to eat us can I at least have a piece from myself? I am starving here .” said miss Keane .”
“I know something better to do with you two  .” said Sedusa taking a rope and coming closer to Miss Bellum and Miss Keane.
Sedusa tied up Miss Bellum and Miss Keane and took them to a far side of the lab. There was a glass cage , inside there were the Powerpuff girls all laying on the floor. Sedusa threw Miss Bellum and Miss Keane inside with the Powerpuff girls and locked the door . They were not tied up anymore but they were locked inside the glass cage with no way out. Everybody was petting their growling stomachs, even the Powerpuff girls .
“Great ! Looks like we are all starving here , locked in a glass cage stuck in a lab with no way out with one of the most wanted criminals. I am so hungry I just wished I could eat anything .” said miss Keane with a disappointed and sad look on her face.
“I also would really love to eat , I am so hungry. What happened to you girls, how did you end up here ?” asked miss Bellum.
“We are so hungry and dizzy that we can barely remember .” said Blossom with a hurt look on her face. “I remember that we came here to catch Sedusa but we were so hungry that we had no powers left, we dropped to the ground like stones .”
“I am so hungry that when we are going to get out of here I will beat up Sedusa so bad and then eat her .” said Buttercup with a revolted voice.
“I just wished I was home eating my cereals. I am so hungry, I want to go home .” cried Buttercups in a corner.
“Don’t worry girls, we are all very hungry but will get out of here when this will be all over and have something warm and tasty to eat, what is this cage made of girls ?” asked Bellum.
“I hope this will be soon because I am starving. The cage is made of some sort of unbreakable glass that I never saw before, perhaps something experimental made in this lab. It is also sound proof , we were annoying Sedusa with our lamenting .” answered Blossom.
“This is our end, we will starve in a glass cage like animals !” cried Bubbles.
“So this is why the SWAT have not breached this place already, they think that the Powerpuff girls are handling the situation. There goes our hope to be saved and any hope to eat anything .” said miss Keane  looking to the ground with a disappointed face like all the hope was drained from her.
The girls growling stomachs was making such a noise inside the cage. They could only rub them and wait for a miracle to be saved before they would starve inside the glass cage. Sedusa was running around, she looked like she was still looking for that hard disk that she came there for in the first place.
“I just wish this will be over soon, I want to eat, I am so hungry .” said Buttercup with a sad look on her face.
“We all do, we are all so hungry Buttercup .” responded Blossom
“I think I am going to faint soon from being so hungry .” said Bubbles laying on the floor.
“Calm down girls , we all need to focus and analyse this situation. Girls , can you pull your self together and gather your powers ?” asked miss Keane recovering hope on her face.
“We don’t know miss Keane , we are very hungry , we can barely move  , Bubbles s dizzy over there , almost fainted last time we tried to break this glass .” answered Blossom disappointed.
“You are our only hope to leave this place so we can go home and have some warm food .”
“You are right miss Keane and I understand but you have to understand us to, we can barely move , our powers are drained. If we don’t eat something we won’t able to be much of any help .”
“What are we going to do ? I don’t want to end up like this .” said Buttercup tapping on the windows.
The stomachs growling sound was bouncing inside the glass cages walls , the girls were rubbing their stomachs , Buttercup was rolling around the floor, Bubbles was crying in a corner, the rest of them were thinking  for a way to escape. Sedusa was typing codes fast on the keyboard of the main computer .
“What is she doing ?” wondered miss Bellum staring at Sedusa.
“I am to hungry right now to care about anything .” said Buttercup with a little anger in her voice.
“I think she is trying to hack the codes so she can open the doors and get out of here .” said miss Keane.
“You might be right miss Keane , I hope somebody will come soon and save us or at least bring us some food so we won’t starve here in this cage and get our power back .” said Blossom trying to get up but dropping back down.
“Sooner or later the SWAT will notice that something is wrong and they will come in and save us. It should happen anytime soon now, we just have to be patient .”
“I am patient but my stomach is not , I am so hungry that it feels like  my stomach is eating its self  from the inside .” said Blossom continuously rubbing her stomach.
“Why did nobody eat anything at all ? We are all starving now, so hard to think with all this stomachs growling and the pain .” said miss Bellum scanning the are , looking for a way out .
Sedusa came to the glass cage and took miss Bellum out and locked the cage door . The girls were still trapped , Sedus was rubbing her growling stomach and staring at miss Bellum and at the main computer from the lab in which she was trying to use to hack the system and open the doors .
“Miss Bellum , I am starving so let’s make this easier for all of us. Help me open those doors so we can get the f*** out of here. Help me get them open and I promise I will not harm you or your friends . I just want to get out of here and go home , have something to eat and rest and I think that’s  what we all want .”
“This sounds so good for my hungry stomach , to go home , rest and eat and I am also sure that this sounds great to the rest  of us as we are all starving but I am sorry, I can not help you . I don’t have the access codes to open the door from the inside , I only knew the code to enter the lab .”
“The who knows this codes ?” wondered Sedusa with an angry tone in her voice.
“Only the head of the lab knows the code , the security system is  unbreakable with no way to hack it. Looks like we are going to be stuck here for a while  starving until somebody opens the doors from the outside .”
“Isn’t there another way out of here ?”
“Not any that I know of .”
*BANG ! BANG ! BANG !*
The sounds were coming from the metal doors. Sedusa looked towards them frightened.
“This is the police ! You are surrounded ! Surrender or we will take action !” the loud voice was coming from behind the steel doors.
“Looks like our starving moments its coming to an end. Give up Sedusa, you have nowhere to run .” said miss Bellum with a calm voice and brave posture.
“I am very hungry but I do have some power left in me to fight .” said Sedusa running away and hiding behind a metal box.
After Sedusa ran and hid , Miss Bellum went and opened the glass cage so that the Powerpuff girls and miss Keane get out of there. Everybody was rubbing the loudly growling stomachs. The labs metals doors started to open.
“I am to hungry to move anywhere .” complained Buttercup.
“Can we finally go home now ?” asked Bubbles.
“Yes , it’s over girls, we are saved !” said miss Keane happily after she saw the SWAT team entering through the steel doors inside the lab.
“I thought I was going to starve here .” said Blossom smiling.
Over thirty SWAT members rushed through the steel doors inside the lab , all fully equipped and armed. Sedusa struggled for a little while but she was overwhelmed by the numbers of the SWAT teams. Finally she got arrested and the girls were escorted outside of the building to an ambulance. Sedusa was thrown inside a police van and took to jail where she was going to stay for a long time.
“We can finally go home now , I am so hungry I just can’t wait !” said Blossom.
Miss Keane took something out of her pocked. It looked like a hard disk.
“Let’s go and make us something good to eat, maybe we can use a famous recipe from the hard disk before we give it back. Sedusa dropped it when the SWAT team breached the lab .” said miss Bellum slightly laughing.
Everybody agreed and they all went to miss Bellums house after the paramedics told them that they will be all right after they will have something to eat.
